HW Nsenga Tips Students On How Court Business is Conducted
Following the new lower Secondary School Curriculum that requires supplementary approaches to learning, Mr. Bakunzi Deus, a teacher at St Pius Secondary School Kiziba, Wakiso District, led a group of 40 students from the School for a study tour at the Judiciary headquarters in Kampala.
The students, in Senior Four, wanted to understand how court business is conducted.
The students interacted with a team led by Criminal Division Deputy Registrar, HW Festo Nsenga and were taken through the structure of the Judiciary, its operations, and its mandate. They also got a practical demonstration of how criminal cases are handled during a trial.
HW Nsenga advised them to study hard in order to achieve their dreams. "Most of the great people you know were once in a classroom. Presidents, Judges and any other professional you know went to school. So, you too can become any of these people you look up to," he said.
Senior Communications Officer, Ms Halimah Kaggwa, advocate Mr. Caesar Chemutai an advocate, and Mr. Kayemba Edward, a Court Clerk, were on hand to answer questions from the students.
